Beam

Catie began working for Beam Center in the summer of 2018 as a creative technology specialist at the residential program, Beam Camp, in Strafford, New Hampshire. She taught Arduino, 3D modeling and printing, laser cutting, and various software workshops. In addition to returning to that role in the summer of 2019, 2022, 2023, and 2024 Catie has also worked as a Project Designer in a school-year collaboration with public school teachers and students in NYC. She now returns each summer as a domain specialist, facilitating unique week-long workshops; from disco-fying objects to cement pouring and soldering seashells, to mold making.
